Is my penis too small?

I'm 25 and having trouble with the opposite sex and I think it's related to size. What is the average size of the male penis and what is considered small? My penis is 4 inches long erect, 0.9 inches wide and 0.4 inches thick with a circumference of under 3 inches. Is that small, be honest. My penis also curves sharply to the right. Is that normal? My last 3 girlfriends said my penis was pathetic and that they can't jerk off something so small. They also said it would get lost in theyre mouth if they tried to suck it. Most women just laugh. I need to know as this issue has had a real negative impact on my life. Please write back promptly with my answers. Thank you and please help, jake

Dear Jake,

OK, you asked me to be honest. The average size of the American male penis is roughly 6 inches. While 4 inches may be on the smaller side of that figure, the way you are looking at it is more of a problem than the actual size. When folks lose their eyesight, they develop better hearing to compensate for that loss. I'm not saying that your penis is something that needs compensating for, as there are a lot of women that prefer less endowment on their men. I'm simply suggesting that you develop exceptional oral and digital skills and focus on those more than the penis. As for the curve, there is an actual medical condition called Peyronie's Disease. To quote: "FAQ What causes a curved penis? Although the cause of Peyronie's disease isn’t known for sure, some physicians theorize that the curvature may form as a result of trauma to the penis. A shearing force causes indirect injury and microbleeding. During healing, certain growth factors are upregulated, causing an abnormal amount of scar tissue (or plaque) to form." (Quoted from http://www.malehealthcenter.com/c_peyronie.html ). Only you and your doctor can know for sure, but if it is major, you may want to seek medical attention from a doctor famaliar with Peyronie's disease. As for the difficulty with the curve... I've seen major bends, and slight bends, none of which have ever caused me a problem. Sometimes, I can tell which hand a guy uses to jack off with by the curve of his penis!

Basically, if you let this turn into a disability, it will be one. If you start focusing on positive skills and less on things that cannot be controlled, you'll find it will become less of an issue for you.
